Finally get to buy a proper car. With a wee bit of money saved up I can afford something less than 10 years old, less than 60k, and get to choose the model. The model I chose tops the range for safety, reliability, smooth ride, space and general family satisfaction, while bottoms out the range for thrills, pizzazz, esprit and other words which don't really mean anything. The T Spirit has top range stuff like leather seats and a cup holder. I thought that it would be less exciting after the BMW 3 Series, but its amazing how a less than ancient car gives a quiet, smooth, sedate and peaceful ride. Wonderful. Just a week or two in, and I am starting to really like this one.
